STRENGTH
Compressive Strength tests were performed in both Lateral (L) and Axial (A) directions. The 50mm panel has achieved (L)20.68 and (A) 38.6, whilst the 75mm panel achieved (L)51.43 and (A) 62.79.
FIRE
AudiePanel® panel has a flammability index of 0.00, making it excellent for non load‐bearing fire partitions. It exceeds the requirements for non load‐bearing fire partitions to AS1530.4, with the 50mm and 75mm panels achieving ‐60/60 and ‐120/120 respectively.
SOUND
AudiePanel® panels have been tested for Sound Transmission using AS / NZS 1276:1:1999 and ISO 140‐4 and achieved the results: 50mm – STC 32, 75mm – STC 36. This means that it far exceeds the sound absorbent requirements for hospitals, schools and other “quiet structures”.
INSULATION
AudiePanel®’s insulation qualities have been proven over the last 20 years in diverse climates of the Australian snowfields and the deserts of Western Australia.
DURABILITY
AudiePanel® panels have excellent durability characteristics. The panels are immune to permanent water damage, will not burn or rotor corrode, are resistant to steam and pollution, and are totally unaffected by UV radiation.
THICKNESS
- 75mm
- 50mm and 100mm (by special order)
WEIGHT
- 50mm x 900mm x 3m = 96kg
- 75mm x 600mm x 2.7m = 85kg
- 75mm x 600mm x 3m = 100kg
FIRE PROPERTIES
In accordance with AS1530 Part 4, AudiePanel® has the following fire resistance levels when used as a non load bearing wall system. 50mm panel – 1 hour, 75mm panel – 2 hours, 100mm panel – 3 hours. In terms of Building Code of Australia (AS1530 Part 1) AudiePanel® is deemed to be non‐combustible.
EPS BEAD
Combustion of EPS in the panel core does not pose toxicity problem. The CSIRO Division of Building Research states that “for foamed polystyrene the potential toxic hazard appears to be no greater than that for wood”.
INSTALLATION
AudiePanel® panels are erected using light gauge steel framing at wall base and head. A variety of installation options are available incorporating channel, angle or totally concealed framing systems. AudiePanel® panels slip together using a tongue and groove jointing system and may be flush set or butt jointed according to project requirements.
PERFORMANCE CHARACTERISTICS
AudiePanel® exceeds the Building Code of Australia structural tests for lightweight construction. AudiePanel® is suitable for the application of a wide variety of surface finishes, including paints and aggregates. The fibre cement facings are immune to permanent water damage, making AudiePanel® suitable for use in wet area applications.
